Federal Mogul Self-Amalgamating Silicone Tape is used for sealing, connecting and finishing the cut ends of sleeves exposed to high temperatures. Composed of an additional fibre glass base coated with a self-amalgamating silicone elastomer, the tapes provide high temperature mechanical protection. After several hours at ambient temperature, the surface of these tapes sticks together when light pressure is added.

The elongation for 66N and 67N ranges from 300% up to 500%. Composed of an additional fibreglass base coated with a self-amalgamating silicone elastomer, the tapes 68N, 69N, 78N and 79N provide high-temperature mechanical protection.

After several hours at moving temperature, the surface of these tapes sticks together when light pressure is added.

These products can also be used to provide local protection to connection accessories and other wire harness components.
