CAB have included advanced print head technology, with heating control for each individual print head. This means that, depending on the material and image specifications, you can provide each print head with a specific heat requirement. 

When the XD Q is only printing on the top side of your heatshrink tubing this is only using print head two, the printer automatically lifts print head one and an electromechanical brake stops the ribbon which prevents waste and extends the life of your printer ribbon.  

This is a brilliant solution for high-volume operations where you are frequently changing over the material as the transport roller can be pivoted, this allows for quick and easy material switches and helps to reduce production downtime.
