The HeatMatic 2120 E is a high-performance hot air gun designed for precision heat applications like vinyl installation and professional car wrapping.

It supersedes the HG 2120 E 240V, and comes equipped with a long 7.5 m power cord. This edition allows unrestricted movement, making it ideal for large vehicles and advertising surfaces.

It is the perfect solution for demanding workshop and on-site environments as it features an improved weigth distribution, providing optimised balance which reduces hand fatigue during extended use.

For smoother finishes and improved efficiency, users can customise the airflow to each task with a 3-stage adjustable airflow system (150–500 l/min). Providing enhanced control which allows users to tailor the airflow. for smoother finishes and improved efficiency.

For added convenience, the inbuilt hanging ring makes it simple to store and quick to retrieve, keeping equipment close to hand and workplaces tidy and organised.

Applications

Shaping PVC: Tiles, piping or ski boots can be softened and formed with hot air.
Desoldering: Electronic components are detached quickly and neatly from circuit boards with a reduction nozzle.
Heat Shrinkable tubing: The shrink tubing is slipped over the section you want to insulate and heated with hot air.
Stripping Paint: Paint is softened and can be removed with a stripping knife and paint scraper to leave a clean surface.
Soft Soldering: First, clean the metal parts you want to join. Then, using hot air, heat the point you want to solder and offer up the soldering wire. Use flus or soldering wire with a flux core to prevent oxide forming.
