Thermo Firesleeve is an industrial-grade, high-temperature insulating sleeve with cutting-edge fire safety technology that can withstand harsh situations. This innovative sleeving is expertly constructed of thick-wall glass fibre, guaranteeing toughness and longevity under harsh circumstances. Its robust silicone coating improves overall safety by efficiently preventing heat transmission and offering a strong barrier against splashes of molten metal.

Thermo Firesleeve is now new and improved, available with integrated retrofit hook and loop fastenings. This provides rapid yet secure installation in the most hard to get to areas or for retrofitting existing systems without removing cables or pipes, this design allows for easy installation, removal, and maintenance. It has been manufactured with fire-retardant hook & loop fastenings, and stitched with glass thread. Making the retrofit option a robust and long-lasting choice. Specially designed to maintain a tight hold even under high temperatures and harsh industrial conditions.

We can now offer a range of vibrant colours to meet all of your industry demands, helping you to colour-code your hoses and cables for quick identification. We can offer Blue, Yellow, Black and Silver/Grey. Of course, if you require a custom colour, just get in touch as these can typically be made to order with a quick turnaround. This adaptable solution combines the heat-resistant abilities of high-temperature silicone which can tolerate temperatures as high as +1,200°C. With continuous protection at an operating temperature of 260°C. Due to its sturdy construction, it can withstand flames and extreme radiant heat, making it a dependable thermal lagging solution for guarding against unintentional contact with hot pipework.

With its remarkable resistance to the majority of oils, hydraulic fluids, fuels, acids, and alkalis, the high-grade rubber is perfect for tough operating conditions. In critical applications, the material's performance is prolonged and fire resistance is improved by the formation of a protective SiO₂ (silica) layer when exposed to flame.

Once installed, the final step is to seal the ends of the Hook & Loop Firesleeve for a neat and secure finish. This can be easily done using either adhesive or non-adhesive heat shrink tubing. To do this, simply cut a short length of heat shrink or use one of our heatshrink kits and slide it over the junction between the hose/pipe or fitting and the end of the Firesleeve. Then, apply heat using a heat gun to shrink the tubing. As it contracts, it will tightly conform to the shape of the hose and fitting, securing the Firesleeve in place and helping to prevent fraying or exposure.
