At the core of the BA500’s advanced design is its innovative Adaptive Control technology. This feature automatically adjusts the crimping force to the particular connector's cross-section, ensuring the dies stop precisely at the correct point, as well as reducing energy consumption. By doing this, the BA500 avoids consistently reaching the maximum pressure of 700 bar by only using the force that is truly needed for crimping. The user has the option of activating the adaptive control function.

The tool stops the dies as soon as it detects resistance thanks to its clever Hold Function, which recognises when a connector is in place. This allows you to double-check the connector's position and align the conductor precisely while holding it firmly without crimping. This means fewer mistakes and better accuracy every time you work. 

Thanks to the adaptive service, which offers less mechanical maintenance, you can increase the tool's maintenance frequency from 30,000 cycles to 100,000 cycles, based on the pressure applied, with medium section connectors. 

With a newly simplified OLED display that makes it easier to view key information quickly, including:

The BA500 has a double-click activation system for improved safety, which allows you to have more control while working and prevents unintentional start-ups.
